Application rate for evergreen and cedar hedges:
In early spring, work into the soil surrounding the tree at a rate of 115 g (¼ lb) for each meter (3 ft) of plant height. For large trees use 225 g (approx. ½ lb) for every 3 cm (1 in) of trunk.
Application rate for group planting or border:
In early spring apply 1 kg (2.2 lbs) for every 30 meters (100 ft) 1 m (3 ft) of plant height. Group planting: this is also 1 kg for every 10 m² (100 ft²) of soil area.
Application method:
Spread 18-6-10 Numix hedges and conifers fertilizer evenly. Work lightly into the soil and water in. Avoid spreading the product on leaves. Remove fertilizer that has fallen on leaves. Dig holes around the drip line 30 cm (1 ft) apart and pour a small amount of fertilizer into holes, fill it and water in. Repeat in six weeks, but do not fertilize after the end of July.
